Food Valley
The Dutch agrofood sector has combined its forces in Food Valley. By bringing together entrepreneurship and knowledge the innovation power of Dutch businesses is strengthened. This is good for its competitive position.
Food Valley brings innovative ideas of knowledge institutes together with business practice. Food Valley does this by:
- initiating innovation trajectories in which businesses and knowledge institutes can cooperate
- stimulating new economic activity and knowledge intensive entrepreneurship
- solving questions of small and medium-sized businesses in the food sector and related sectors
- attracting investments and high-quality businesses and organizations
- promoting Food Valley as innovation engine for agrofood, life sciences and health.
More and more businesses join the Food Valley Society. Entrepreneurs in small and medium-sized businesses receive answers to their questions via the Food Valley Innovation Link. Also useful is the access to the specialized library of the Wageningen Universiteit.
In the Food Valley Themaclusters (Themeclusters) businesses and researchers collaborate on innovation trajectories.
