Winners of the TukTuk Battle to continue as entrepreneurs

The students of the HAN Arnhem-Nijmegen University who won the Hybrid TukTuk Battle in July will continue as entrepreneurs.
They started the ECO Tuk B.V. company in December 2009.
The idea of the Hybrid TukTuk Battle was to make the Indian TukTuk cleaner and with better fuel-efficiency. The team of HAN Automotive won the battle with the Eco Tuk which realises about 50% reduction of fuel cost and 40% reduction of CO2 emission. In March, the HAN students will participate in the Bombay Challenge with a Tuk Tuk rally traversing India.
