Wanted Design: Designers for horticulture
Greenport Arnhem Nijmegen is a cooperative working agreement between a large number of companies, authorities and institutions that are involved in the horticulture chain in City Region Arnhem Nijmegen. Greenport Arnhem Nijmegen, together with Syntens and Ontwerp Platform Arnhem (OPA Design Platform Arnhem) started a project under the name of 'Symbiose KAN'. Designers and market gardeners will get acquainted with each other’s expertise and explore the possibilities for putting the horticultural products distinctively and competitively on the market.
Market
gardeners know everything about their product and the production process but
too little about how to market their product distinctively and competitively. A
number of market gardeners would like to see this changed. Greenport
Arnhem Nijmegen is looking for designers who want to delve into
horticulture and its products and enter into an innovative and durable
collaboration project with a fruit or market gardener.
