Technology Day Arnhem at Industrial Estate Kleefse Waard
Electricity. Toothpaste. Shampoo. Companies and schools in the region will introduce themselves with do-it-yourself activities to children between the age of 10 and 14 during the Technology Day. The aim is to make children familiar with technical education and professions in an interesting way. They will get to know everything about energy and electricity, learn how to make toothpaste and shampoo, discover what nature has to do with technology, learn how to handle various tools and instruments, and lots and lots more.
The Technology Day is for young students an outstanding chance to get to know more about technical professions. Companies can actively make the technical sector known to them, and technical companies are cordially invited to participate in the project to let children make or do something that relates to their products or services.
Technology Day is planned for May 16, 2009, and participation is free of charge. Companies can register for this day via meelker@vno-ncwmidden.nl or via techniekdag.nl.
