Renovation of the Airborne Museum

expired

After a period of over 9 months of renovation, the Airborne museum in Oosterbeek has reopened again to the public. Visitors are educated on the Battle of Arnhem in a new and interactive manner.

With the improved entrance and the new and innovative interior of the museum, its continuity is guaranteed. This very important part of cultural heritage of the Province of Gelderland will be presented to the visitors in an attractive manner, which will help increase tourism in the region. The improved Airborne Museum also helps to keep the interest in the commemorations of the Battle of Arnhem alive.

After the developments and renovations to the museum have been completed, the park surrounding the Hartenstein villa will be restored to its former splendour. With that, the basic principles of the so-called country style are respected.
