Park Lingezegen on Youtube
Students of the A12 Regional Training Centre made animations about Park Lingezegen. These films let you walk through a virtual park and the students show you how the park can be in future. The final result is up to you.
The creators of the films hope that their material sets you thinking about shaping the park.. "What are your ideas? What would you like to do in the park and what do you want to see? Arts, theatre, concerts, sports, picnicking, etc...", are only few of the students’ questions.
Park Lingezege is an important recreational and nature area in the making. In the nearby future, some 160,000 people will reside in the area adjacent to the park between the Rhine and the Waal. The park is mainly meant for these future residents in Overbetuwe, Lingewaard, Nijmegen North and Arnhem South.
The park will cover an area of 1,500 hectares, of which 500 hectares will be open to the public.
