Metamorphosis of the A325 near Nijmegen starts in August
The conversion of the A325 near Nijmegen will start in August. The conversion, a part of the Waalsprong, will lead to a 30-mile road with ground level intersections with traffic lights, green verges, narrow driving lanes and noiseless asphalt.
To hinder traffic as least as possible five lanes will be opened during rush hour. Three going to the city, one of which for busses, and two going from the city. Also the capacity of the P+R Waalsprinter has expanded considerably and a direct bus connection with Winkelsteeg/CWZ has also been made. The City Region Arnhem hopes that commuters from the south will start using the new train station Mook-Molenhoek to travel to Arnhem and beyond.
