More jobs in Nijmegen town centre
Data of the 2008/2009 monitoring of the Nijmegen town centre show that the number of jobs in the Nijmegen town centre has increased with 7% to 14,900 between 2004 and 2008.
The services sector in particular saw a considerable increase of jobs. On average, visitors stay around for a longer time in town (2 hours and 45 minutes) and spend a larger amount of money per person (EUR 53). The total supply and the overall atmosphere of the Nijmegen town centre is rated a 7.4 out of 10 points. However, the effects of the economic downturn have not yet been taken into account in the monitoring.
