‘Slim Prijzen’ experiment marked by great spirits
expired
Around 5,300 motorists will participate in the ‘Slim Prijzen’ (Smart Money) experiment carried out for motorway A325 / Prins Mauritssingel in Nijmegen. When you avoid the road section going into town during rush hour (and use alternatives like the Waalsprinter shuttle bus service or work flexible hours or from home), you will get 4 Euros a day.
The amount accrued will be paid out in January 2010. The Slim Prijzen experiment is part of the so-called Accessibility Offensive (Offensief Bereikbaarheid), a project launched by local authorities and the business community to keep City Region accessible. The project concurs with the roadworks being done to this stretch until mid-December.
