  • The city of Nijmegen has a website for expats
  • ACCESS is a non-profit organization supporting the International Community in the Netherlands. Whether you are working here on an expatriate assignment, have recently relocated, are studying or have made Holland your home, you are welcome to use the free information and service of ACCESS
  • Foreign Exchange is a non-profit organization which provides information and assistance to the native English speaking community in the Netherlands, specifically in the Arnhem-Nijmegen area.
  • The Nijmegen-Arnhem Chaplaincy of the Anglican Church provides Sunday services in English (once every two weeks) as well as social activities. Expatriates (and others) of all nationalities and denominations are welcome to take part. For addresses and information please visit the Chaplaincy's website.
  • COC Nijmegen is an interest group for homosexual men, lesbians and bisexuals in the city. It also organizes all kinds of parties and activities. 
  • The International Resource Centre (IRC-Gelderland)  is a meeting point for the expatriate community in Gelderland Province. The aim of the portal is to gather, share and exchange up-to-date information, guidance and resources and to make these available to welcome, inform, support and enrich the international community residing and operating in the province.
  • Arnhem Nijmegen Cool Region has one international school, the Arnhem International School [AIS]. The school has a primary and secondary department at three different locations.

Radio

Radio Netherlands Worldwide has radio programs in English about the Dutch. Curious Orange is one of their shows about modern day Dutch culture. Subjects vary from windmills to pot and prostitution.
