There is life next to your study!
When you have made up your mind and start living in one of the two main cities in the Arnhem Nijmegen Cool Region, you will soon notice that they are real student towns.
For Nijmegen, it is quite logical with the two universities and its many colleges, spread over the city. You will notice a multitude of cosy bars and a diversity of active student societies. Nijmegen has put itself on the map with the yearly Four-Day March and the corresponding festivities and pop festivals. But make no mistake by thinking Arnhem comes in second. Characteristic for this city are the cultural activities that happen at every street corner. It is not a city to get bored with, especially if one can visit the variety of art festivals and fashion happenings that happen throughout the year.

HAN-students can sport at reduced rates at two branches of Sportbedrijf Arnhem. It doesn’t matter if you like to swim or to play tennis, field hockey, football, or like to loose some energy at spinning, it is all possible with a student sport card
