International oriented ‘Dutchie’

In the 3rd year of my study I went abroad for a year: I went to Australia to do my internship and I went to Spain to do my study abroad. I also lived in the United States for a semester before I started studying at ABS.

Next to various sports, especially horseback riding,  I also love: travelling, shopping, dancing (Salsa etc), cooking, reading, watching good movies, going out with my friends, cultural activities and of course spending time with my family!

Whilst studying in Spain I met my boyfriend (Yván López Cruz) and he recently emigrated to Holland to do his bachelor degree at ABS too.

I work in the catering service, in the Public Relations field and I recently picked up book keeping to help out my dad’s car company. Occasionally I work for the HAN as a school representative during the Open Days and I became an active member of ISA = International Student Association of ABS.

Furthermore…I am very social and I love meeting/talking with people from all sorts of countries and cultures. I speak fluent Dutch, English and Spanish and if possible I am focusing on an international future in the region of Valencia, Spain. I enjoy organizing activities to bring people together and wherever possible I am always willing to help. So if you have any questions or you think I could help you in any kind of way, don’t hesitate to contact me!

Hello Marlie,

Very turbulent lifestyle you have. Can you explain to me what ISA does?

Greetings Inge
