Viktor & Rolf brought to light in London
Their fame seems indelible. Viktor & Rolf will have their own exhibition in the prestigious London Barbican Centre from June 18 to September 21, 2008.
With their capricious mix of cool irony and surrealistic beauty, Viktor & Rolf have taken the fashion world by storm. Exhibition ‘The House of Viktor & Rolf’ presents all their signature pieces since their graduation from Arnhem Fashion School in 1992. The exhibition displays a spectacular installation that dominates the entire Barbican Art Galery.
The exhibition is supplemented with a hardback book with over two hundred full colour photographic images, some of them never published. The book features drawings, sketches and Polaroids made by the designer duo. It will be the largest book ever published on Viktor & Rolf.

They would not be Viktor & Rolf if there was not something out of the ordinary. On this occasion, the duo fill the Barbican Art Gallery shop from top to bottom with accessories, clothes and a limited edition of their perfume. Also available are a range of design objects, accessories, books and curios that have inspired Viktor & Rolf.
Made in [Arnhem] and Arnhem Nijmegen Cool Region are associate partners of the exhibition and have helped to provide the funding necessary to make this show happen. They are thanked by the Barbican Art Gallery for their generous support in the accompanying exhibition catalogue, gallery wall plaque, exhibition guides and of course on the website which links through to this page and counts 42 million hits every month from around the world.
