Fashion is second nature to Arnhem
Arnhem is imbued with fashion and the city is a breeding ground for talent. Fashion is therefore featured in numerous events and projects, like the international fashion event Mode Biënnale and meeting place Coming Soon.
Comme des Garçons, Thom Browne and Christopher Kane join the Arnhem Mode Biënnale 2009
The two-yearly Arnhem Mode Biënnale 2009 fashion event programme is presented. Among the participants are newcomers Comme des Garçons, Christopher Kane, Rodarte and Thom Browne, and the programme features such fashion labels as Lanvin, Jil Sander, Maison Martin Margiela and Hussein Chalayan. A total of over eighty national and international fashion designers will cooperate in the exhibitions that have ‘SHAPE’ as this year’s central fashion theme.
‘SHAPE’ new theme of Arnhem Fashion Biennial
SHAPE will be the theme of the third edition of Arnhem Fashion Biennial. 150 garments and creations of international fashion designers will clearly illustrate the meaning of SHAPE and why ‘shape’ is so alive in the world of fashion.
SHAPE magazine: you can’t do without it!
The exclusive SHAPE magazine will be published as a collaborative effort by Arnhem Mode Biennial and Elsevier. The magazine will have running commentaries, reviews, backgrounds, essays and appealing photography about the participating fashion designers, pavilions and, of course, about SHAPE.
