University expects influx of students
Radboud University in Nijmegen is all in for extra attention for technology studies. Finally new blood for the many knowledge-intensive high-tech companies in the region!
Radboud University turns out numerous graduates who will then start
their careers in the Arnhem Nijmegen Urban Region. The region has many
high-tech industries, and the greater part of Dutch research and development activities
takes place in this region. If this becomes general knowledge, the Faculty of
Science of the university will attract more students.
Radboud University is facing the future with confidence. The Arnhem
Nijmegen Urban Region could work together with other regions that have a strong
technology sector.
In any respect, it will be nice for the region when the world knows that
there is plenty of technological activity. The NXP semiconductor manufacturer
(formerly Philips) is already generally known. But other successful companies
like Synthon, Mercachem and GX are equally important for the region.
