Nationaal Bevrijdingsmuseum 1944-1945
National Liberation Museum 1944-1945 [Nationaal Bevrijdingsmuseum] holds an interesting exposition of the liberation of the Nijmegen area and consequently of the liberation of the Netherlands and Europe. The Museum will take you to the setting characteristic for that period round the liberation. Authentic objects, unique photo material, models, original film footages, scale-models, scents and music are important elements to fully experience this distinctive atmosphere.
Both young and old are educated on the importance of subjects like freedom, democracy and human rights. The museum organizes movie nights and events and educational programmes on a regular basis.
