Museum Het Valkhof
Museum ‘Het Valkhof’ in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, shows permanent collections on Archeology and Old and Modern Art. The museum also accommodates an extensive and specialized library with a reading room where you can find background information about various fields of collections.
In Museum Het Valkof’s comfortable and modern Museum café you can enjoy your coffee
or tea, several tasty cakes, chocolates from Belgium, non-alcoholic drinks or an
aperitif. Museum café Het Valkhof also has an attractive lunch menu, serving
fresh bread rolls with homemade soup and salads. Or would you rather enjoy a High
Tea made to order? Weather permitting, the doors to the terrace are open and
you can sit right near the town rampart under the chestnut trees. From the
terrace you can view the many sculptures in the museum’s ‘back yard’. The
Museum offers free admission but if you come in a group it is advisable to make
reservations.
