Entomological field trip with visitors centre Het Dijkmagazijn
Crap is dirty. This is statement is only relative as it is meat and drink to dung beetles, dung flies and many other insects. To them cow pats and horse droppings are a dinner party where they can feed themselves to their hearts' content. On Sunday 13 September you have the opportunity to look for insects in the river foreland under the expert guidance of a real entomologist.
Visitors centre Het Dijkmagazijn in Beuningen will make sure that loupes and tweezers are available, making it worth your while this time to pay particular attention to cow pats and horse droppings.
Through to 4 October 2009 Het Dijkmagazijn in Beuningen is open every Sunday from 12.30 p.m. until 4.30 p.m. and offers a free photo exhibition on willows.
The entomological field trip takes place on Sunday 13 September at 2.00 p.m. till 15.30 p.m., starting at Het Dijkmagazijn, Dijk 41 (at the corner of Waardhuizenstraat), Beuningen.
