Easter in Museum Park Oriëntalis
Easter is the most important festival in the Christian tradition. With Easter the Christians commemorate the passion and the crucifixion of Jesus and celebrate his Resurrection. Museumpark Oriëntalis tells the story of Easter in an exceptional way. How does Judaism celebrate Easter? Do Muslims celebrate Easter?
These and more questions will be explained in Museum Park Oriëntalis. All aspects of Christianity, Judaism and Islam are shown in an open and educational way. On Easter Sunday there are also special activities for the young and the old, such as handicrafts, hunting for Easter eggs and face painting. The theatre will show the magic world of ‘Het Vogelmeisje’ [The Bird Girl] and there is lots of singing and dancing.
