The African Museum in Berg en Dal makes you familiar with African art and culture and offers a combination of fine exhibitions in the indoor museum and a beautiful outdoor museum where the public can visit African villages and compounds. Special activities are organised during the school holidays and on public holidays.
Beauty & Sauna De Thermen
Sauna De Thermen is thé traditional sauna of the city of Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Sauna De Thermen offers an extensive range of saunas, various sauna cabins, steam baths, herbal and bubble baths as well as several swimming pools and water gardens. All new is the ‘Hammam’, which combines a wonderful body cleansing treatment with relaxation. The ‘Rhassoul’, new as well, is a traditional Arabic cleansing ritual with clay and the use of a steam bath.
Burgers' Zoo
Burgers' Zoo in the Netherlands is a very large zoo. It has is a completely covered 1,5 ha tropical rainforest where hundreds of animals live freely among thousands of tropical plants. Museum voor Moderne Kunst Arnhem
If you want to enjoy Modern Art at one of the most fantastic locations in the Netherlands, the Museum voor Moderne Kunst [Museum for Modern Art] in Arnhem (MMKA) is thé place to go. Beautifully located on top of a lateral moraine, it offers a fantastic view on the banks of the river Rhine and is within walking distance from Arnhem central railway station. The Museum’s collection is very diverse and renowned for the major collection of works by the group of Dutch painters called Magic Realists [Magisch Realisten].
Nationaal Bevrijdingsmuseum 1944-1945
National Liberation Museum 1944-1945 [Nationaal Bevrijdingsmuseum] holds an interesting exposition of the liberation of the Nijmegen area and consequently of the liberation of the Netherlands and Europe. The Museum will take you to the setting characteristic for that period round the liberation. Authentic objects, unique photo material, models, original film footages, scale-models, scents and music are important elements to fully experience this distinctive atmosphere.
Nationaal Fietsmuseum Velorama
Nowhere in Western Europe will you find a collection of bicycles and bicycle accessories as large as in the Velorama National Bicycle Museum. Accommodated in an historic building on the banks of the river Waal in the Netherlands, the Museum offers a complete picture of the development of the bicycle throughout the years.

Nederlands Watermuseum
You will be ‘touched by water’ in the Netherlands Water Museum. In addition to the Museum’s permanent exhibition, it also has an area mainly reserved for different temporary exhibitions. The Museum also holds a water lab, a water information centre, a water playground and a brasserie Aquarium. The museum is built partly underground in the Arnhem Sonsbeek Park.
Recreatieoord De Panoven
Holiday resort ‘De Panhoven’ is located on a very well conserved industrial heritage site and dates back from 1860. The Panhoven offers the possibility to experience the ancient craft of firing brickworks and roof tiles and, in a way, become one with nature. The kiln was transformed with great respect to its special heritage and now holds, among other things, the first museum for roof tiles and brickworks in the Netherlands which will surely capture your imagination.
Scandic Sanadome
The Spa Wellness Hotel Scandic Sanadome Nijmegen offers fantastic thermae facilities, and is the place where you can truly relax and slow down. The Thermae landscape covers 2,500 square metres, holding a large thermal indoor pool, a large thermal outdoor pool with water of 33 °C, and has 340 m² of various whirlpools with added carbon and oxygen, herbal whirlpools, a salt-water bath, several warm-water baths, a mint room, a steam room, sun beds and a beautiful sunbathing area.
Liberation Route Arnhem Nijmegen
The Liberation Route lets you experience what happened around Arnhem and Nijmegen in 1944 and 1945. There are 23 stones located at various locations throughout the region, the so-called listening locations. You can listen to an audio report at each location about the impressive experiences of one or more persons during ’44-’45.
Amusement Park Tivoli
What have Tiffi & Toffie and the Kakeldoe Family in common? They all are mascots of Tivoli, the Dutch amusement park. This fun fair offers an all-day enjoyment with numerous attractions for children in the 2-12 age group.

Events organization OMNIVENTS offers complete package deals, all including food and drinks. You can choose from several sporting activities, such as paintball, quad riding, adventures and games, all at our own events location the ‘Watergoed’! Located between Arnhem and Nijmegen, all the facilities are available on our premises. For one, our paintball park contains seven different fields, making it the second biggest in the Netherlands.
